It's still a couple more days to wait until our fab SUMMER WOMENSWEAR SALE and if that is not enough to test your patience, what about this frigging weather eh?
So here's a wee something to put a file on your face about one of the MADDEST people in the Fashion Business : Mr KARL LAGERFELD. Yes we know he's a genius BUT he's been out in that sun (somewhere) waaaaay too long. If you ever wondered why all the clothes he sells are expensive, its became he has to keep CHOUPETTE happy. She lives better than any of us. She has two personal maids who also keep a detailed diary of her every move. "We do keep a diary," Lagerfeld told WWD "When I am not there, the maids take down, in little books, everything she did, from what she ate, to how she behaved, if she was tired, and if she wasn't sleeping. In the nine months, we already have almost 600 pages." Me thinks there is a yet another Coffee Book on the way here.
By the way .... CHOUPETTE is a cat even you hadn't worked that out already.
I'm grateful to OMG blog for bringing this snippet to our attention, and want to dedicate the story to our Jimmy who, when I think about it, was just as spoilt as this, except his folks refused to buy him an iPad.
