International star Marilyn Monroe fascinated the public in her hey day and has continued to do so since her untimely death. With beauty, style and a certain mystery Marilyn was the ultimate Hollywood icon. This March the Getty Images Gallery will be presenting their exhibition Marilyn, which will showcase a collection of imagery and memorabilia to commemorate 50 years since her death. It will feature a number of dresses and costumes worn by the star which have been provided by David Gainsborough Roberts - the owner of the largest collection of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia in the world. There will also be a display of photographs and video which enable a glimpse into the life of Marilyn from the beginning of her career right up to the prime of her stardom.
